Joe Biden’s cognitive and physical condition worsened and became more public in the past 10 days while he and his administration pressured Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. It has been an assault and attempt to pressure, discredit and force Netanyahu to agree to a cease-fire in Gaza. 

Moreover, there is a U.S. led Middle East and international effort to press Israel and the Palestinians into a two-state agreement at the end of the Gaza war.  

Haaretz wrote, “The United States and its Arab partners – Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates – are pressing for a launch before March 10, which is the start of the holy month of; Ramadan. The prevailing assessment is that a large-scale Israeli incursion into Rafah would inevitably roll into Ramadan, and consequently the escalatory potential in the region and beyond will increase significantly.”
