Israel Analysis
The hell continues
By Jim Fletcher
I was listening to NPR this morning—actually thought they went away but private money keeps the propaganda gang afloat. The “reporter” referred to Judea-Samaria as the “Occupied West Bank.” Now, the level of lying from the Left is truly staggering, almost disorienting, but we still push back.
A quick history lesson. The region has never been the capital of any government, save the Jews. For nearly 2,000 years, the Arabs didn’t lift a finger to make it a sovereign anything. For 19 years after the 1948 Israeli War of Independence, Transjordan did nothing to make it sovereign. For 2,000 years, it had been a backwater, renamed in the second century by the Romans (from Judea) to “Palestine,” another effort to erase Jewish history.
Legally, the Jews have a claim to the area and we know that in 1967, after another monumental Arab military blunder, the Jews enveloped it. Today, a half-million Jews live there. Most don’t know that for a full ten years after the Six Day War, Jews didn’t settle the area. There were factions that wanted to negotiate with the Arabs. Only after they realized the Arab leadership would not negotiate in good faith did Israel settle the area. Thus, the name “sssssettlements,” which sounds a lot like sssssnaaaakkke.
I came to the realization some years ago that the Left will never budge one centimeter on their unrealistic perspectives. Many know they are lying but continue doing it anyway. So, NPR becomes just another brick in the lying wall facing the truth.
A mistake has always been to try and accommodate the Arabs (I no longer refer to them as “Palestinians,” a political term made up out of whole cloth, for the purpose of creating an indigenous people in the region). Right after the Six Day War, when Israel captured Judea-Samaria, the biblical heartland, Moshe Dayan gave control of the Temple Mount back to the Arabs! Many thought the Temple would begin construction the next day, but that move by Dayan was weak. Since then, Israel and the West have tried to make peace with the murderous Arabs.
Right now, Hamas continues to tighten its control of the Gaza Strip. Can you believe this? The West has brought us to this. The demons that unleashed Oct. 7 on Israel (all of Gaza celebrated it) were going into the dustbin of history, until the West completely fumbled the ball. Unreal. So Israel is perpetually in the Strip.
Now, notice from this report that the language being used by Western diplomats is exactly the same as the disastrous Oslo Accords 30 years ago:
“It was reported that implementing the roadmap was expected to take 210 days and be carried out in five phases.”
That should sound familiar. It is identical to the wording used in the early 90s, when the Oslo delusion was powerful. It was to take five years to establish a “Palestinian” state, led by Yasser Arafat. Talk about the details, then the hard items last (status of Jerusalem, etc.). Except, that was never going to happen. But by the end of that initial period, 1998, they were no closer to that vision than they’ve ever been. It’s all a con.
It’s a con! All the clowns from Dennis Ross to Jared Kushner have no ability to reason with the Arabs, who are bloodthirsty and disingenuous.
Hamas is also right now hampering militias from working with Israel. Anything to gum up the works. Constantly.
And then this:
“An aid convoy organized by a Turkish organization with more than 500 participants is advancing overland from the east toward the Palestinian Authority territories.”
Turkey has forced their way into the region, thanks to President Trump. Turkey is a mortal enemy of the Jewish state and its dictator, Erdogan, is a beast.
Once Trump made his plan of displacing the gargoyle Arabs from Gaza public, and they told him to go jump off a short pier, he had nothing left to negotiate with. They stood up to him, even though his plan would have been brilliant. You know, send the Arabs of Gaza to Siberia, or east Asia (although they would have then corrupted those regions) and they’d be out of the Middle East. But no one wanted them, chief among them the Arabs of the Middle East. Saudi Arabia? A vast territory but they hate the Arabs of Gaza.
And so these gruesome games continue.
“IDF forces continued operating within the yellow line to locate terrorists and destroy terrorist infrastructure. In northern Rafah, a tunnel containing dozens of rockets was destroyed. A terrorist operative who participated in the atrocities of the October 7, 2023 invasion and massacre was detained while working as a truck driver for a merchant in the Strip as he drove to the Kerem Shalom Crossing from the Gazan side. Palestinian sources reported that IDF activity continued at several locations in the Gaza Strip, mainly in the north, the Khan Yunis area and eastern Gaza City. In the Beit Lahia area, several shooting incidents were recorded in the western part of the city, the al-Salatin area and central Beit Lahia; continued fire from military vehicles was also reported in the Jabalia refugee camp and the Khan Yunis area; in eastern Gaza City, a house was reportedly attacked by two UAVs.”
While Israel fights “larger” enemies like Iran, the boiling pot within Israel continues apace. It has been so disappointing watching our leadership mishandle this whole situation, like novices. It ensures there will be more killing and instability.
