Unexpected salvations occur ever so often as I share about the Messiah anywhere, especially in Israel.
While checking out at a hotel, a young Israeli woman was giving me some special small gifts, while the other hotel receptionists were tending to other guests. I took advantage of the situation and began to tell her about the Messiah. I wanted to be quick before the others began to engage with her. I told her that it was very easy to talk with God and believe in his Son. Her eyes were now focused on me. I asked the Holy Spirit to help me continue the conversation. I told her about His love for her. She said that wanted to believe in this. I asked her if she would like to pray to talk with Him. She gave a big smile and said, “Yes.” In a moment we were praying and she believed in her coming King, Yeshua. I was not expecting this!
While at another hotel, the concierge, an Israeli Arab-Jew, began to speak to us about his life experiences. He was so close to believing in the Truth. When I said this to him, his eyes grew wide and his look was centered on me. For a moment, I didn’t know where to take him from there. I then told Him about Yeshua and what He had done on the Cross. He said that he had chills all over. So, I simply asked him, if he would be willing to pray to believe in Yeshua. Immediately, he said, yes. With his eyes fixed on mine. He prayed and believed. I was not expecting this!
“Abba, Your sheep are scattered and without You in land of danger and death, but, Oh, Father, what a light the believers have in side them, Your Son, who dispels the shadows of darkness, in a heart whom the Holy Spirit is revealing Him. In an unexpected moment, we are in a conversation about Him, and He saves the soul! Messiah, how jealous You are for Your lost sheep in Israel. May our mouths open to speak to them of You by Your Spirit and take the heart captive by Your love that they may be with You in eternity—JOY!
And he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have not a shepherd: and YHWH said, These have no master … 1 Kings 22:17 (KJV)
But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. - Matthew 15:24
Thus saith YHWH of hosts; I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great fury. -- Zechariah 8:2
The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined. - Isaiah 9:2
