As I walk the streets of Jerusalem, I say to young adult Israelis, “ Do you know that God loves you?” They respond, “ I hope so.”
I say, “Good — because He is the only hope that you have. You will find that hope in the love of the Son of God for you. His name is Yeshua. I tell of His love and the mystery of the Cross and His blood. I tell of the sacrificial Lamb; therefore, there is no need for the blood of goats or sheep to be offered for sin. The Son of God gave His own blood to cleanse us from sin.”
A young Israeli asks, “ How do you know?” I tell of His Spirit revealing the Truth of God’s Son and that one must ask God to reveal His Son. That He will not deny the answer. Then one must have the courage to believe the answer.
There is silence and then a whisper, “ I will do this.”
“Abba, Father, the streets in your land are filled with Your children who do not know You and need hope. They need to know Your love. They need Your Messiah. Holy Spirit, will You not reveal the Son of God their Messiah to them? Yeshua, You have opened their hearts to ask the Father about You. They will ask for an answer. Give them courage to believe that they may have eternal life.”
Jeremiah 3:23: “Truly in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills, and from the multitude of mountains: truly in the Lord our God is the salvation of Israel.”
Isaiah 1:11: “To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the Lord: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.”
1 Peter 1:19: “But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.”
John 15:26: “But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me.”
