A compromised new government in Israel
Journalist Kalman Libeskind on Monday, May 31, criticized the Yamina party’s decision to form a government with the left-wing and Arab parties, contrary to promises made by the party’s leaders before the election.
"Naftali Bennett and Ayelet Shaked repeatedly swore before the election that they would not crown Lapid as Prime Minister, that they would not sit with Meretz, and that they would not be supported by Ra'am. If their voters knew they would do the opposite, would they have given them the seven seats? If the answer is no, and it is clear that it is, then this is one of the biggest election thefts we have seen here," tweeted Liebskind.
Christian damage control
Christians are running to Israel and/or working in Israel to do damage control over what Mike Evans said this past week. (Details in these articles and Evans’ press conference. Times of Israel - Jerusalem Post - Jerusalem Prayer Team)
How ironic that the very people who actively supported the Peace to Prosperity Plan and the Abraham Accords—John Hagee, Nikki Haley and Joel Rosenberg—are rushing to do damage control through public support of the new compromised Israeli government—a government of leftists and secular centrists combining with the Arab Ra'am political party, a local branch of the Muslim Brotherhood and from the political right. They are led by a future prime minister Naftali Bennett who said he would never build a coalition with the political left in Israel.
(I gave a copy of Eye to Eye to Naftali Bennett at the Jewish Media Summit in June 2014 and then again to him and his chief of staff at the Christian Media Summit in November 2017, both in Jerusalem. My assistant Max Obeidin gave Israeli Finance Minister Yair Lapid a copy of Eye to Eye at Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C., on October 10, 2013. Lapid was in Washington to meet with Vice President Joe Biden, Treasury Secretary Jack Lew and White House Middle East Coordinator Phil Gordon. Lapid said he would read it on his long flight home that night.)
Biden considering Obama’s former Ambassador to Israel
Biden is seriously considering Obama’s ex-Israel ambassador Dan Shapiro as a Middle East envoy to work the normalization relations.
I gave Eye to Eye to Dan at an ADL meeting just before his flight to Israel on May 4, 2010. Dan was the director for the Middle East and North Africa of the U.S. National Security Council. He often joined Special Envoy George Mitchell going to Israel before becoming Obama’s U.S. Ambassador to Israel in May 2011.
I spoke to Dan at the George Mitchell “Making Peace With One’s Enemies: Conflict Resolution in the Spirit of Yitzhak Rabin” event at the Sixth Street and I synagogue in Washington, D.C., on May 24, 2010.
Dan told me that he read Eye to Eye but didn’t say much. I told him there will be more consequences as long as the land of Israel is negotiated, you can count on it. But eventually there will be a Daniel 9:27 covenant, not mentioning that is the anti-Christ influenced agreement.
Abraham Accords: Israel locked down 72 hours after signing at the White House
The extended sovereignty to 132 Israeli Jewish communities in the biblical heartland of Judea and Samaria was stopped by the Abraham Accords due to Arab, U.N., EU, French, British and German pressure and threats.
When the land of Israel is the bargaining chip to gain support for a Palestinian state with continued focus on the Arab Peace Initiative of 2002 . . . historically, there would be and have been serious consequences
Moreover, the Abraham Accords normalization agreement was highly motivated by business interests, travel and more.
Israeli business and government officials were no doubt enamored by the $875 billion United Arab Emirates sovereign wealth fund and sophisticated companies in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
The Abraham Accords is a violation of God’s Abrahamic Covenant. Forty-eight hours after the Abraham Accords was signed at the White House on September 15, 2020, Israel’s coronavirus cabinet decided to institute a full lockdown over the entire State of Israel beginning the night of Friday, September 18, the first night of Rosh Hashanah.
The lockdown lasted through Yom Kippur (September 27–28) and Sukkot (October 2–October). The second major lockdown cost Israel billions of shekels in that period and beyond.
We have heard that more than 85,000 Israelis have visited the UAE since the Accords were signed. Israel and the UAE have signed 25 agreements in 15 fields of commerce. And bilateral trade between Israel and UAE has surged to more than $300 million. It will be a long time before Israel offsets the billions of shekels in lost business.
It is not a coincidence that a hurricane named Sally (the name Sally is a derivative of the Hebrew name Sarah, the wife of Abraham) was about to come ashore as the Abraham Accords were being signed on September 15, 2020, and plowed ashore the early hours of September 16.
The TV coverage of the Abraham Accords signing shared screens with Hurricane Sally.
Was this a sign from God that the Abrahamic covenant land in Genesis 15:18 is for Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and their descendants, not Hagar and Ishmael?
