Inside the White House by William Koenig
President GW Bush never fully recovered from 9-11 and Hurricane Katrina
I warned President G.W. Bush by letters prior to September 11, 2001, and after and then again after Hurricane Katrina about the consequences of dividing Israel. He was also given copies of my books Israel: The Blessing or Curse and Eye to Eye—Facing the Consequences of Dividing Israel.
A 30-year White House correspondent told me in 2007 that President Bush never fully recovered from the many significant challenges the 9-11 terror events and Hurricane Katrina created. And that was said to me before the 2008 financial crisis and the $700 billion Wall Street bailout that followed President Bush’s Annapolis conference of November 27, 2007, and Condoleezza Rice’s extensive peace efforts and frequent trips to Israel in 2007 and 2008 until Ehud Olmert’s abrupt resignation due to personal legal challenges on July 29, 2008. His resignation threw Israel’s politics into turmoil and all but stopped White House peace efforts.

My letter to President Trump and Michele Bachmann’s extensive efforts
I lobbied extensively to warn President Trump through letters, meetings, and correspondence from early 2017 up until he finally delivered his “Peace to Prosperity” plan on January 28, 2020.
My letter to President Trump, Vice President Pence, and President Trump’s top staff was delivered along with Eye to Eye books to the White House press room on September 6, 2017. Numerous copies of Eye to Eye were given to Vice President Mike Pence with comments by others.
However, at the same time the White House was also hearing from some Christian leaders that they fully supported dividing the land with certain conditions protecting Israel, the Holy Sites, and Jerusalem. In other words, they were supporting an Arab-Palestinian state in parts of Judea, Samaria and East Jerusalem. Below are articles about their efforts and public comments.

Former Congresswoman Michele Bachmann’s extensive efforts. Jan Markell interview of Michele
The following interview was shared in last week’s news report. Michele Bachmann’s ongoing efforts in warning the Trump Administration were commendable as well as Jan Markell’s continuous efforts. Jan’s interview of Michele was heard on over 800 U.S. radio stations and heard online at One Place (https://www.oneplace.com/ministries/understanding-the-times/?ref=sc) and streamed across America and around the world.

In the interview, Bachmann mention giving Eye to Eye to two government officials at a meeting she attended with other Christian leaders. The two officials were Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and US Middle East Envoy Jason Greenblatt.

Christians who supported the Trump/Kushner peace plan meetings encouraged the White House
Koenig: The following people have been warned of the consequences of dividing the covenant land of Israel. I spoke to Jentezen Franklin and others about "Eye to Eye" and the land of Israel. Paula White was provided "Eye to Eye" at the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C., in January 30, 2019 five weeks before the following meeting. I provided Paula White a three-page executive summary of my Eye to Eye and a three-page summary of previous U.S. Presidents and their relationship with Israel and the Land.
It appears they and others below didn’t take the extensive warning very seriously and/or may have been concerned about the administration's reponse. They were working with Jared Kushner and Jason Greenblatt, who had also been warned of the consequences but to no avail. Joel Rosenberg said publicly the Trump plan needs to be given a chance. He was very positive about the plan in his meeting with Vice President Pence. (details follow)

John Hagee, Jentezen Franklin, Paula White Cain, Lance Wallnau Stand for Israel at the White House — Charisma News – March 7, 2020 - Charisma
Several charismatic leaders, including John Hagee, Jentezen Franklin, Paula White Cain and Lance Wallnau, stood with Israel at a White House meeting Thursday.
Jentezen Franklin:
"I'm leaving the White House after a tremendous meeting on Middle East policy, things that we as evangelicals are very concerned about, peace in the Middle East, just some of the things that are going on, negotiations that are happening," Franklin says in a video posted to social media.
"It's a pretty exciting time, and a time that we need to be praying for the peace of Jerusalem, praying for our government, praying for our president and leaders as they are negotiating for peace.
"Just keep that in mind and do all that you can do on your knees in prayer and being vocal," Franklin says.
John Hagee:
I was pleased to go to the White House today for a listening session with @jdgreenblatt45, and other faith leaders, to discuss the forthcoming peace plan. For Zion’s sake we will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake we will not hold our peace.
Paula White:
A great listening session today @WhiteHouse with @jdgreenblatt45 and many Evangelicals on Israel and the Middle East Peace Plan! Thank you @realDonaldTrump for the team you have assembled for this unprecedented opportunity!

Meeting with the President and VP to discuss Israel, Iran, North Korea and the future of peace – March 10, 2019 (article)
Koenig: I gave Joel Rosenberg Eye to Eye at a Tim LaHaye conference in Dallas years ago.
The morning began with a “listening session” with Jason Greenblatt, Assistant to the President and Special Representative for International Negotiations, and a group of high-profile American Evangelical leaders. Greenblatt is one of the chief architects of the Mideast peace plan with Jared Kushner and David Friedman. While I’m not at liberty to share what Greenblatt told us, I was encouraged by the conversation and by the Administration’s desire to answer Evangelicals’ questions and address our concerns. (see this article, “White House working to reassure Evangelicals on Middle East peace plan,” for more.)
Next, I had a private lunch with Vice President Mike Pence and one of his senior advisors. The VP and I have been friends for many years, going back to his days as a Member of Congress. This was our first opportunity to sit down and debrief on the Evangelical Delegations I led to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates last Fall, and I was glad to be able to share with him what my colleagues and I saw and heard and how this may factor into the prospects for peace in the Middle East.

13 Christian Takes on Trump’s Peace Plan for Israel and Palestine- . January 28, 2020
Joel Rosenberg, co-founder of the Alliance for the Peace of Jerusalem, was impressed.
“It was an excellent rollout ceremony,” he said, “dramatic, surprising—and controversial.”
Withholding full judgment until he reads the full 181-page plan, the bestselling author of End Times-inspired political fiction said that Trump’s plan gave Israel almost everything they wanted, but was also “generous” to the Palestinians.
On that count, it may complicate domestic politics for Trump and Netanyahu alike. Though some Christian Zionists oppose a two-state solution, Rosenberg believes many evangelicals will be “enthusiastic.”

John Hagee, the founder and chairman of Christians United for Israel (CUFI) who attended the White House rollout, praised President Trump for being “the most pro-Israel president in US history.”
“This plan reflects that tradition and is the best peace proposal any American administration has ever put forth,” stated Hagee. “The President’s vision ensures Israel’s defensible borders, a united Jerusalem, sovereignty over biblical holy sites, and provides an opportunity for the Palestinians to choose peace.
“CUFI, as we have since our founding, stands with the decisions of the democratically elected government of Israel,” he stated. “We hope the Palestinian leadership will not miss yet another opportunity for peace in the region.”

Middle East Expert Joel Rosenberg on President Trump’s Peace Plan – January 29, 2020
Koenig: I have been interviewed by Chris Mitchell numerous times about “Eye to Eye.” He is a good friend. Furthermore, Pat Robertson personally interviewed me twice on the 700 Club and fully supported the consequences of dividing Israel.

Evangelicals see Trump plan as proof 'Israel kissed by God' – analysis – January 27, 2020
Koenig: I gave Mike Evans Eye to Eye in 2004 and an updated copy during a meeting with leaders from Judea and Samaria on the sidelines of the AIPAC Policy Conference (AIPAC.org) in 2018.
Mike Evans:
“Our base will be weeping” with joy at the plan’s formal reveal about the prominence of the Bible, he said.
Evans revealed that in private briefings both with the president’s peace team and the president himself, he learned that, “the plan does not take away the major biblical sites, and this is everything we were hoping for – everything.”
“Israel just got kissed by God,” Mike Evans continued. “I am not referring to Donald Trump as God, but I am saying he has Divine inspiration.”
